8. Dallas Cowboys

Nothing has changed with the Dallas Cowboys' projection all offseason, we're all just waiting to see what they can do in the games.

If this year's defense is even league-average, the Cowboys are a playoff team.

And maybe more than that. We know the offense is capable of outscoring anybody. They've got some of the best skill position talent of any team in the league. The defense has just been so bad in recent years that the Cowboys haven't been able to overcome it.

They brought in a ton of new faces this offseason, including Christian Parker as the defensive coordinator. It's a big "if", but if the Cowboys' defense can go from the bottom of the league to somewhere in the 16-20 range, they'll probably be in the mix to win the NFC East.

7. San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers feel like one of the "inevitable" teams of the NFC despite the injury issues that seem to consistently plague them.

Kyle Shanahan is one of the best coaches in the league. This roster is aging in some key areas, but there's no question that the 49ers are talented enough to contend for a title. Even with a ton of injury issues last season, they managed to win 12 games and stay in the mix of the NFC West late into the season.

Things might feel like they're trending slightly down for the 49ers as the season approaches because of all the negative stories that have surrounded this team in the offseason, but they are still going to be extremely dangerous and a threat to come out of the NFC.
