4. Green Bay Packers

The general NFL consensus seems to be way too low on the Green Bay Packers for the 2026 season. It seems like so much of their projection for the year is hinging on Micah Parsons not being around for the first month or two of the season.

The Packers have enough talent to sustain Parsons being out at the beginning of the year, especially on the offensive side of the bal.

But to be fair to the skeptics of the Packers, this is a team that is not only missing Micah Parsons...They're also missing Josh Jacobs. There are a lot of young players who need to step up for Green Bay, but that's where MVP candidate Jordan Love comes into the equation. Love will be the tide raising all boats in the harbor, giving the Packers a shot to take the NFC North from Chicago and be the best team in the NFC by the end of the season.

3. Philadelphia Eagles

The 2025 season was a down year for the Philadelphia Eagles, and they still won the NFC East rather handily.

This is a team that has built itself a very significant margin for error, and we all witnessed it last season as they trudged through the year offensively. We've seen the Eagles' offense be dynamic and borderline unstoppable in recent years, but at this point, simply saying they'll get back to that is just lip service and optimism.

Without AJ Brown, it's going to be at least somewhat of an uphill battle.

One area we don't have to worry about with this team is the defense. The Eagles absolutely have one of the best -- if not the best -- defensive minds in the game at the helm in Vic Fangio, and he's going to have his unit back in the top 5 once again this season.
