2. Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks are the reigning Super Bowl champions, but they're starting off the year as the #2 team in their own conference.

After winning a championship, the Seahawks proved they were a much better sum of their parts last year than really anyone expected. But can they repeat that level of success without Klint Kubiak calling the offense?

Seattle's defense is one of the best in the NFL, especially in the takeaway department. They were able to mask some of the offense's issues with ball security throughout the season, but how different will things be in 2026?

One of the biggest roster question marks for this team will be at running back, where rookie 1st-round pick Jadarian Price is set to take over for the departed Kenneth Walker IV. Price could quickly find himself in the driver's seat for NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

1. Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams recently completed the most ridiculous offseason perhaps in NFL history.

They started things off by trading for Trent McDuffie to upgrade the cornerback position. They used their other 2026 1st-round pick to take Ty Simpson, who could be the QB of the future.

They followed up the Simpson pick by giving Matthew Stafford a massive raise.

Then they traded for Myles Garrett, making the single biggest move of the 2026 NFL offseason. And as if adding Garrett wasn't impressive enough, they called up Aaron Donald and convinced him to come out of retirement.

This is the type of roster that wouldn't have even been allowed by the CPU in Madden franchise mode. It's the most ridiculous collection of top-end talent in the NF, maybe ever seen. The expectations are going to be sky high from the first snap of the season for the Rams.
