There are a ton of capable teams in the AFC, so this could be one of the more entertaining postseasons we have seen in quite some time. As of now, the AFC goes through Denver, and the last time that happened was back in 2015 when the Broncos won it all with Peyton Manning.
With a few more weeks left to play in the regular season, a lot can change, but the AFC hierarchy likely is not going to change all that much from now until the end of the season. Now that the bulk of Week 15 action is over, we can get into some power rankings.
We'll see how the Pittsburgh Steelers do on Monday Night Football in Week 15, but for now, we have ranked all seven playoff teams.
Power ranking the seven AFC playoff teams following Week 15 action
7. Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers host the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football and just aren't a very special team. They don't do anything overly well and would be one-and-done in the playoffs if they even got there in the 2025 season. Pittsburgh needs a reset in the worst way if you ask me.
6. Los Angeles Chargers
The Los Angeles Chargers beat the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 15 but still trail the Denver Broncos by two games in the division. LA's offensive line is a huge concern right now, but they keep stacking wins and might be frisky in the playoffs, but on paper, this team isn't really that special and need a strong offseason in the trenches.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguar throttled the New York Jets in Week 15 and moved to 10-4 on the season. Trevor Lawrence is heating up and is playing great football at the right time. The overall roster talent isn't special, but the Jags are going to be in a great spot for the long-term given what we have seen from this team under first-year head coach Liam Coen.
