2. Baltimore Ravens

Well, it was just one game, but it feels pretty safe to say that it appears the Baltimore Ravens are back.
Last week, they checked in at an extremely high 5th on our final NFL Power Rankings before Week 1. I've been of the opinion that they obviously have to prove themselves after a rough year last year, getting a new head coach in 2026, and having question marks on the interior offensive line.
It's safe to say that many of those questions were answered in Baltimore's win against the Colts.
Derrick Henry had 3 rushing touchdowns, proving he is defying time unlike any other running back we've seen. The Colts had absolutely no answer for Zay Flowers. Even with 10 penalties, the Ravens absolutely dominated in Week 1 with over 500 yards of offense and still plenty of areas to improve.
Jesse Minter's team is looking scary after one week.
1. Denver Broncos

Broncos play Monday night vs. Chiefs***
The Denver Broncos take over the #1 overall spot in this week's NFL Power Rankings by default, because the Rams lost (and looked terrible in Australia). But they are obviously a worthy team for this spot even before they play in Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
There are plenty of question marks surrounding this Broncos team in 2026 with Bo Nix coming off an ankle injury, Davis Webb taking over offensive play-calling, and whether or not they can ramp things up in the takeaway department.
With that being said, this Broncos team looks like it's going to be really tough all year long. They are entering their Monday night game against the Chiefs fully healthy, as in a full 53-man roster ready to go. They brought back nearly everyone from last season, and added Jaylen Waddle as potentially the missing piece for an offense that desperately needed it.
