4. San Francisco 49ers (1-0)

The San Francisco 49ers had one heck of a Week 1 showing against Los Angeles. Given that this was an NFC West showdown, many of us thought it was primed to be a close game, but it was anything but. I am not sure the 49ers are better than the Rams, as the next time these two teams play will probably yield a different result, but when you think about it, the best-possible outcome for any team in Week 1 is earning a win within the division.

And now, because the NFL is hilarious, all but the Rams are 1-0 in the NFC West. San Francisco's continuing injury concern might stay with them the rest of the season, and it did catch up with them in the second round of the playoffs.

Something with the traning and/or recovery has to be an issue for this team, or else the years-long stretch of injuries simply wouldn't be the case. It's a tough pill for this franchise to swallow, as they win a ton of games when the roster isn't totally banged up.

3. Seattle Seahawks (1-0)

Seattle saw Sam Darnold leave the game after just a handful of plays. Backup QB Drew Lock had to hold the fort down, and he did. Lock isn't a special QB or anything, but he's a fun backup who is far from afraid to take shots down the field, as he has the arm strength to do so.

The Seahawks should be fine without Darnold, but it's never ideal when the starting QB goes down. With how good the defense is, though, the Seahawks could really not skip a beat, but you'd also still need to see Lock and the offense give the defense a chance to close things out. Seattle appears to be good enough to repeat, but it's also still a bit early to tell for sure.
