2. Chicago Bears (1-0)
Chicago scored 59 points in what will likely stand as the best offensive showing of any team this season. Everything was working for the Bears on offense, and while the defense could still be a major concern, any sort of jump from the offense based on what we got from 2025 could have the Bears winning more than 11 games.
Caleb Williams might be the next superstar QB, and Ben Johnson could be a superstar head coach himself. With two potentially elite people at QB and HC, the Bears can win it all. Sure, that pass rush does have to come alive, and even the secondary is a question mark, but if Chicago has something special brewing on offense, the front office might feel compelled to make a major move on defense when the trade deadline approaches.

1. Los Angeles Rams (0-1)
I am still banking on the Los Angeles Rams being the best team in the NFC. Once again, Week 1 can be a liar. The Rams sport the best roster in the NFL and do have the reigning MVP in Matthew Stafford. This team didn't just forget how to play football - they'll look better in the coming weeks and eventually stack some wins together and likely stand atop the NFC West.
Losing that first divisional game, though, to San Francisco, is less than ideal, as the Rams are already down a game in that regard, whic could potentially loom large. Myles Garrett could also find his way back from injured reserve after a month, and there is always a chance that Aaron Donald's impact on the defense becomes greater as 2026 rolls on.
