14. Baltimore Ravens (1-1)

Be honest, how many of you had the Baltimore Ravens losing to the New Orlans Saints in Week 2? The Ravens are with a new head coach in Jesse Minter, so this isn’t something that was going to get off the ground immediately, but with that said, Week 2 did feel like quite the brutal loss.

For years now, we talk about how the Ravens seem to have all the boxes checked. The roster constantly seems to be great, and the coaching is largely awesome all the time. But for whatever reason, they just have never gotten over the hump.

I know I am getting slighty off track here, but I think my thoughts above play into the Week 2 loss. Baltimore just tends to disappoint you at weird times.

At the end of the day, they have enough talent and are probably well-coached enough to go on a run, open their record up, and take the AFC North crown.

But this recent loss was no good. We’ll see how they respond, as one huge indicator of how good a team can be is how well they play after a loss.

13. Seattle Seahawks (2-0)

Seattle blew out Arizona in Week 2, but for now, at least until Darnold is back, I am not sure we can rank them super high. This isn’t necessarily me saying that the Seahawks won’t be good, but I don’t think they’re a very good team without their starting QB, which should not be controversial.

Drew Lock did play quite well, but the Cardinals defense isn’t very good and is going to struggle for most of the season. The second Darnold is healthy enough to come back into the lineup, Seattle will rise up about eight spots in our power rankings.

But most teams that see their starting QB go down would not be ranked No. 13. That’s just a testament to how good this team can be and is.
