26. Arizona Cardinals (1-1)

The Arizona Cardinals had a fun win in Week 1, but that only lasted a week, as they got blown out at home by Seattle, who didn't even have Sam Darnold in the field.

Arizona is trending toward being one of the worst teams in football this year, but they do have some nice talent on offense that could help a future rookie QB, perhaps in 2027, get up to speed in the NFL.

There is definitely some to like with the Cardinals, but as of now, this team is far from complete and still needs a lot to go right before we even begin having any sort of further discussion.

I would expect Arizona to hang out in this bottom tier for most of the season, but the fun talent on offense does give them some frisky upside to play spoiler a couple more times this year.

Jacoby Brissett had just 95 passing yards in the Cardinals loss.

25. Indianapolis Colts (0-1)

Colts played on Sunday Night Football

I’m not expecting much from the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football. The Colts got blown out in Week 1 by the Baltimore Ravens and really don’t have much going for them this year.

Yes, Daniel Jones is back, but he’s an average QB at best and just isn’t someone that is going to be able to hang with Patrick Mahomes. Of course, as I type these words, the Colts may end up going into Arrowhead and beating the Kansas City Chiefs, but it’s not likely.

The Colts could establish the run well with Jonathan Taylor, and I am not sure the Chiefs’ defense is oozing with talent, but the talent difference in QB and with the two head coaches is significant. A likely 0-2 start from the Colts is coming.
