22. New York Giants (1-0)
Giants play on Monday Night Football
The New York Giants get to play on Monday Night Football against the Los Angeles Rams. The Giants shocked the NFL world a bit after an upset win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1. Both sides of the ball held their own for the Giants in Week 1.
With that said, their Week 1 victory could have been a perfect example of why Week 1 in the NFL is a bit misleading, as the Giants can be frisky, but this team just does not have the overall roster talent to hang with the best teams in the league, and with the John Harbaugh era barely off the ground, it could take a year or two more before we really look at this team as being threatening in the NFC.
Second-year QB Jaxson Dart does look like the real deal, though, and if Dart is a franchise QB, the Giants will be set for years.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers (1-1)
Maybe the most boring team in the NFL, the Pittsburgh Steelers lost in ugly fashion to New England in Week 2 and just don't really do anything well. Aaron Rodgers is old and washed up, the coaching staff is just OK, and some of their most important players are just not who they used to be.
This is not a playoff team, and I am not sure this team even finishes with a winning record this year. There is a lot that the Steelers need to correct, but nothing substantial is going to change until they move on from Rodgers following the 2026 season and actually begin to get more serious about the QB position.
Pittsburgh is No. 21 in our power rankings, and if this franchise disappeared tomorrow, I am not sure many would notice.
