4. New Orleans Saints (1-1)
I'll pose the same question with the Saints that I posed with the Lions earlier:
If you had to decide after two weeks whether or not you're buying stock in this team for 2026, are you buying or not?
For me, I'm buying all the Saints stock.
We need to see this team start a little bit better in games, but it's not like seeing teams like the Lions and Ravens have success on the offensive side of the ball is uncommon. The fact is, the Saints have found ways to get back into games, nearly pulling off an overtime thriller in Week 1 before finishing the comeback win against the Ravens in Week 2.
This offense has a number of ways it can beat you, and with the way we've seen Tyler Shough playing dating back to last season, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see this Saints team win the NFC South in 2026.
3. Los Angeles Rams (1-1)
To say the Los Angeles Rams were lackluster in their 2026 season opener against the San Francisco 49ers would be an understatement.
And not only did they get blown out in Australia, but injury was added to insult when it was revealed that Myles Garrett would need to go on injured reserve with a knee issue.
As bad as the Rams played in Week 1, we all knew they were going to bounce back quickly, didn't we? That's exactly what they did against the New York Giants on Monday night. And who knows how different things might have looked if Jaxson Dart had not gotten hurt, but the Rams put an absolute beatdown on the Giants without Puka Nacua and without Myles Garrett.
The Rams are back in the circle of trust.
This is a team that just has way too many pieces to think they're going to falter. They have enough talent to endure even without Myles Garrett for a time. And how about the way Aaron Donald played in his first game back in years?
