2. Buffalo Bills (Last week: 1)
The Buffalo Bills have been playing some sensational football through two weeks, as the offense looks unstoppable. With that being said, the defense has been less than inspiring. The Bills also do this each year, as well. Josh Allen and the offense will look unbeatable for a stretch of a season, and many in the national media wonder if this is finally the year.
And thus far, it's never been their year, but the Bills have also been in the Super Bowl contender window for a majority of Allen's career, and there isn't anything out there that indicates they aren't in that tier for 2026.
Until Buffalo slows down or Allen loses a step, they'll be a top team in the NFL, but the years of playoff heartbreaks are getting old at this point. We're going to keep having the same conversations with this team until something major changes. Buffalo takes the No. 2 spot in our power rankings.
1. Los Angeles Rams (Last week: 2)
The Los Angeles Rams got back on track with a blowout victory over the New York Giants in Week 2. The Rams were going to be fine this entire time, and while it's just one win, the Rams are simply too talented not to be looked at as a top team in this league.
They were on their way to a division title and even a Super Bowl appearance last year before the defense bottomed out a bit. That's a primary reason why the team added Aaron Donald, Myles Garrett, Trent McDuffie, and Jaylen Watson this offseason.
For the Rams, it's about going out there and not doing anything over the top. As long as the Rams play their brand of football, they'll win a ton of games and make a deep playoff run. There isn't a clear hole on this roster, and thanks to their bounce back win in Week 2, they take our top spot.
