2. Von Miller moves up the top-10 sacks list

Does anyone else like talking about the defensive side of the ball? I sincerely hope so because the final two entries on this power ranking happen to be defensive statistics, because the defense matters too. First up is our obligatory discussion of Von Miller.

The legendary pass rusher is still on his quest to move up the all-time sacks leaderboard, and has made zero progress since the start of the 2026 NFL season. Miller, the current Dallas Cowboy, is still stuck in a tie with former team legend DeMarcus Ware for ninth place on the top-10 list in the history of the league. With a half sack, he will break that tie and move into another one with Terrell Suggs.

With a full sack, Miller would break that tie with Suggs and move into another one with Jason Taylor. However, with a sack and a half, Miller would find himself all alone at seventh place on the all-time sacks leaderboard. I am begging for some kind of movement here as the Cowboys face the struggling offensive line of the Green Bay Packers this weekend.

1. Pittsburgh Steelers all-time forced fumbles record

Did somebody say obligatory mentions of a statistic? Well, here is another one for you all as T.J. Watt attempts to set the Pittsburgh Steelers’ all-time forced fumbles record. Unlike Miller, Watt has actually inched his way closer to this mark in the 2026 campaign.

So, with just one forced fumble on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Watt could break his tie with George Lloyd at 37 forced fumbles and set the record for himself. There are rumblings that Baker Mayfield wants to get back onto the field, which could make for an easier time swiping the ball out of the grip of the quarterback for the veteran pass rusher. With both Watt and Rodgers chasing history on Sunday, this could be a monumentally historic game for this Steelers team.
