4. Shane Steichen, Indianapolis Colts
Shane Steichen and the Colts suffered a rather ugly loss to the Titans in Week 6, which prompted the team to send Ballard packing. Ballard's firing, in the eyes of some, was years overdue, so it's not a shock that he got shown the door before Steichen.
And Steichen's appearance on the list is honestly not all him - Ballard had really dropped the ball with these rosters for much of his tenure, so to an extent, Steichen has never had a whole heck of a lot to work with, especially this year.
However, he is the head coach, and he is responsible for having his team ready to play. While a divisional loss is rather normal, losing one at home to a winless team is something that honestly crosses the line.
Now at 2-4, the Colts might not have more than a handful of wins in sight, and that could mean that any sort of skid could see Steichen packing his bags.
3. Jim Harbaugh, Los Angeles Chargers
The worst team in the NFL right now, Jim Harbaugh's Los Angeles Chargers can't do anything well. Harbaugh did go 11-6 in each of his first two years with the Chargers, so perhaps he deserves a bit of a leash here, but this is significantly worse than even what we thought the worst-case scenario would be.
Mike McDaniel could not be less of a fit for Justin Herbert, the personnel on offense, even when healthy, was not good enough, and some are even questioning what Harbaugh himself even does. Harbaugh lands at No. 3 in our power rankings, as the Chargers also don't have a clear first win in sight, either.
You're even seeing the body language of players during games suffer. This is a situation that really can't get much worse, so Harbaugh's seat could be boiling hot right now.
