6. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-2)

The Jacksonville Jaguars were on their bye in Week 7, so they didn't play. The Jags lost in Week 6 to the Houston Texans, and I can't imagine how many other experiences in the NFL feel as disappointing as losing heading into the bye.

With that said, the Jags are still in a very good spot to win the AFC South again, as the division took a major step back, and the Texans are simply not a good team despite being the main challenge for the Jaguars.

Trevor Lawrence has also played his tail off this year, and if that can keep up throughout the rest of the season, the Jaguars can be playing well into January.

5. Buffalo Bills (5-1)

The Buffalo Bills have one of the worst defenses in the sport this year, but you would probably never guess that with the 5-1 record and the prolific scoring offense. Until the Bills get more disciplined on that side of the ball, I am not sure they'll actually get over the hump, but they do get into the playoffs every season and are a threat until they're not.

Perhaps swapping Sean McDermott with Joe Brady was and is the main change they needed to make...?

4. Denver Broncos (5-2)

The Denver Broncos have now won three games in a row and five of six after their blowout win over the Arizona Cardinals, and perhaps most notably, quarterback Bo Nix showed signs of his 2025 form in Week 7. With the defense having stepped up in the previous few weeks, all that is really missing with this team is a consistent QB, and they got a performance like that in Week 7.

The Broncos are also 5-2 for the second year in a row and have already taken care of the toughest part of their schedule. Once again, this team is in the Super Bowl bubble.
