16. Baltimore Ravens

Last week: 10th

The Ravens are one of the biggest fallers in the league right now, and it’s because this team simply cannot be viewed the same without Lamar Jackson in the lineup.

Baltimore is not running the ball well right now, and they are not adapting to that fact very well offensively. They got absolutely blown out by the Cincinnati Bengals in Baltimore this weekend, and the absence of Lamar Jackson is being felt tremendously.

Even after seeing Jackson back at practice this past week, you have to wonder what version of him the Ravens are going to be getting. How much is Lamar’s durability a concern for this team right now? It’s clear that the Ravens are simply not the same dynamic team we’ve seen in the past.

They went 0-for-3 in the red zone against the Bengals, while allowing Cincinnati to convert all five of their chances. They are now dead last in the ultra-competitive AFC North.

15. Green Bay Packers

Last week: 15th

The good news for the Packers’ ailing running game is that Josh Jacobs returned to action in Week 7, and at the perfect time. They needed a boost for their Week 7 matchup in Detroit against the Lions, who have one of the worst defenses in the NFL.

The bad news? Josh Jacobs did about as well running the ball in his first game back as we’ve seen from MarShawn Lloyd and Kaleb Johnson all season.

The Packers just became the first team this season to score less than 21 points against the Detroit defense. Of course, the Lions were coming off a bye, and they also got some reinforcements in the injury department, but this was a disappointing game for the Packers.

Missed field goals once again have plagued this team. Stop me if you’ve ever heard that one before. Penalties have also been a maddening issue for this team, and Green Bay might have some legitimate gripes after one of the worst officiated games of the year so far.
