3. Nick Sirianni, Philadelphia Eagles

Nick Sirianni and the Philadelphia Eagles have now lost six games in a row and are in a lost season. The injuries have been brutal, but Sirianni's time in Philly could also be ending. Even during some of their winning seasons, there always seemed to be questions about whether Sirianni is actually a good head coach or was benefitting from an elite roster, as he does not call plays.

With the Eagles now losers of six in a row, the front office has a chance to kickstart a new era of Eagles football, as it is quite clear that this current window has slammed shut. While the business of firing a head coach in-season is brutal, it's something that teams need to do. With the way things are going, Sirianni could end up being one of many players and coaches who don't return after this year.

2. Jim Harbaugh, Los Angeles Chargers

The lone winless team in the NFL is the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers lost 12 regular season games in 2024 and 2025 combined. They have seven losses already this year and just look horrible all across the board. The offense has not worked at all, the injuries are still there, and the wins just aren't coming.

Harbaugh has won wherever he's gone in his head coaching career, but the lack of clear roster improvement this past offseason and a bad offensive coordinator hire and fit have contributed to this mess. Harbaugh's hands are clearly all over this operation.

1. Shane Steichen, Indianapolis Colts

It's not necessarily Shane Steichen's fault that the Indianapolis Colts are where they are, but he could become another piece of change. The Colts have already traded multiple players, fired General Manager Chris Ballard, and could still be in a position to trade more players in the coming days.

Steichen is clearly a quality offensive mind who would get a job as a coordinator or even head coach again almost immediately, but his time with Indy could be coming to a close. The Colts have now lost four games in a row, and while the previous front office takes some of the blame, it still falls on the head coach to have the players ready to play.

Steichen's seat is very hot at the moment. He tops our power rankings.
