14. Green Bay Packers, 1-2
The Green Bay Packers are now a bad football team, folks. It feels like it's been 20 years since we've actually been able to say that, but it's arrived. Yes, the Packers are dealing with more injuries than they'd like to have, but that's also the case for every team.
What we're seeing is a total exposure of how poorly-built this team was and is, and there really isn't much of anything they can do well now. The Packers making the playoffs this year would be a major shock, as both sides of the ball are getting exposed in the worst way.
I guess the defense getting Micah Parsons back in the coming weeks is going to help, but that doesn't fix the offensive line, the run game, or the below-average group of playmakers. I hate to say it, but this year might already be a wash. There just aren't enough good players on this team who are healthy and can play.
This is going to be a non-playoff year and start some serious conversations about the future of this franchise.
13. New York Giants, 2-1
Losing Jaxson Dart just flat-out stinks, man. This was going to be a year where Dart potentially began to put it all together, as his rookie season was rather encouraging given the circumstances. I am not sure a 2-1 team coached by John Harbaugh is going to throw in the towel, though.
The team can win some games with Jameis Winston, who has had spurts of being a high-end starter. The New York Giants aren't a playoff threat or anything, but this team is capable enough of showing some fight and maybe hitting that 7-win mark, which would be successful given the circumstances, but I am not sure they're a good team as of now.
