12. Carolina Panthers, 1-2
This is not a good football team. The Carolina Panthers are now 1-2 on the season after a really ugly, deflating loss to the Cleveland Browns. While the Panthers are pretty banged up, it's not been encouraging this year up to this point.
With the mounting injuries, the team might have to rely on Bryce Young more than ever, and if he is a franchise quarterback like some thing he is, this should be his time to actually prove that to the front office. The Panthers play on Thursday Night Football against the Detroit Lions, and that would be a perfect time for Young and the Panthers to get this early-season lull back on track with a huge win over a high-flying offense.
If not, falling to 1-3 would further drop the Panthers out of NFC relevancy. They did win the division last year and hosted a playoff game, but that likely won't happen again with an 8-9 record. I don't believe the Panthers are currently a team worth paying attention to. They are outside our top-10 in our rankings.
11. Arizona Cardinals, 1-2
The Arizona Cardinals are a fun 1-2 team. The offensive talent is obvious, and QB Jacoby Brissett is no slouch. While Brissett is far from a long-term answer, and the defense is just nothing special, the Cardinals have been able to be a frisky team this year.
Being in the NFC West essentially guarantees that they'll finish last, and I don't think they'll win a single divisional game this year, but if they can find a way to get the QB position in a good spot, perhaps by the end of 2027, we'd have to take this team seriously.
For now, though, the Cardinals are, for the most part, a bad team, but they're a fun bad team, if that makes sense.
