4. Minnesota Vikings, 3-0
The Minnesota Vikings don't really feel like a 3-0 team right now, as the QB play has largely been bad, but they're 3-0!
The defense has really been the story of the offseason, as Brian Flores, despite some personnel shuffling this offseason, still has his unit playing excellent football. In fact, it feels like it's only a matter of time before Flores gets a shot to be a head coach again.
For the time being, the Vikings land at No. 4 in our power rankings. I worry about the ceiling of the offense, especially if Kyler Murray can't elevate his play as the season goes on. I also worry that both Murray and Carson Wentz are essentially in the same tier of QB, and if that is the case, that is a huge problem.
You want your starter to be the guy, obviously, and if you swapped Murray and Wentz in the lineups each week, there might not be a major difference with the offense. Until the Vikings start to show signs of struggle, though, we really can't rank them anywhere but high in the NFC. They're undefeated and deserve a high spot.
3. Los Angeles Rams, 1-2
The Los Angeles Rams are now 1-2 on the season, just as everyone expected. The Rams are a bit banged up and could realistically get Puka Nacua and Myles Garrett back in the near future, but starting 1-2 is surely not what many of us thought would happen.
The Rams blew a second-half lead to the Broncos in Denver, and also got blown out by the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1, a team they are now two games behind in the NFC West. This is still one of the most talented teams in football, but this slow start also isn't nothing.
