4. Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Detroit Lions
David Montgomery is no longer in the picture for the Detroit Lions, so this should be viewed as excellent news for Jahmyr Gibbs, an exceptional running back who can rack up yards and touchdowns like it's nothing.
There is a very real chance that Gibbs has the highest yardage total of his career in 2026, as he should now settle into more of a bell-cow role with Montgomery on the Texans.
This could lead to an All-Pro-caliber season, which would almost certainly land him high on next year's rankings. Gibbs comes in at No. 4 in our predictions.
3. Myles Garrett, DE, Los Angeles Rams
Myles Garrett's 2025 season was the best single-sack season we've seen in the history of the NFL. Now with the Los Angeles Rams, Garrett does have the personnel around him to have another 20+ sack season, as wild as that sounds.
Even Aaron Donald is back in the mix, and while the Rams do have a plethora of players who want a piece of the pie, Garrett is still the best on that defense right now, and if 2025 is any indication, he's still in the prime of his career.
2. Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens
Lamar Jackson honestly should have won the MVP award in the 2024 season. With Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens healthy and ready to roll, we could see Jackson respond after a shaky 2025 season. The Ravens were simply too banged up at the beginning of the season to dig themselves out of the ditch they fell in.
But with that said, we've seen Jackson perform as the best QB in the NFL in multiple prior seasons, as he's already been a two-time MVP and does have three total MVP-caliber seasons. We're simply predicting the Ravens to respond in a big way after missing the playoffs in 2025, and that will allow Jackson to thrive and have another massive year.
1. Bijan Robinson, RB, Atlanta Falcons
Bijan Robinson led the NFL in scrimmage yards in the 2025 season and is absolutely a top player in this league. One thing that could actually go in his favor in 2026 is the Atlanta Falcons QB instability, as they could end up leaning more on Robinson to keep the offense afloat.
But even if Tua Tagovailoa or Michael Penix Jr ends up starting the entire season, neither one appears to be a legitimate option at this point, so even in that scenario, Robinson is going to get a ton of work. Arguably the best dual-threat running back in the league and a top player regardless of position, he takes the top spot in our top player predictions for 2026.
