Buffalo Bills
Ceiling: 13-4
Floor: 10-7
The Buffalo Bills adding DJ Moore to the offense should be a huge boost, and with how easy the Bills have seemingly won games each year, it'd be a shock if this team wasn't again in that 11-13 range. There are some questions, naturally, about if Joe Brady is an NFL head coach, but he does inherit one of the best regular season teams in the NFL, so falling somewhere around 12 wins is likely what should happen.
But if there are some rookie growing pains for Brady, there is a chance the Bills barely reach double-digit wins.
New England Patriots
Ceiling: 13-4
Floor: 9-8
The New England Patriots won 14 games last year with an easy schedule - let's just call it like it is. The Patriots, though, could very well be a legitimate juggernaut, so getting close to their 2025 win total is on the table, but if this team was really only this good last year because of their schedule, we could see a realistic regression closer to that middle tier. Somewhere in the middle may be more likely - an 11-6 season feels about right.
New York Jets
Ceiling: 7-10
Floor: 4-13
If Geno Smith can somehow figure out how to play like he did in the 2022 and even 2023 seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, the New York Jets could be respectable. With that said, the head coach is an unknown and the roster overall still needs some work. The Jets could floor-out with four wins, as second-year head coach Aaron Glenn struggled in year one on the job, and there is a distinct chance he's just not cut out to be a head coach in this league, which could lead to the Jets struggling to win much of anything.
Miami Dolphins
Ceiling: 5-12
Floor: 1-16
Perhaps the worst team in football, if nothing comes together for the Miami Dolphins, winning one game, while a bold prediction, could happen. At best, the defense shows signs of life and Malik Willis isn't terrible, but that may only yield a five-win season, as the Dolphins have a bottom-3 roster in the NFL and are missing key talent in the trenches and key playmaking talent outside of running back De'Von Achane.
What is good, though, is that the Dolphins took a deliberate path this offseason to rebuild, and this team is simply what a year one rebuilding club should look like.
