Seattle Seahawks
Ceiling: 13-4
Floor: 10-7
The defending Super Bowl champions might just be the most well coached club in the NFL right now, so while the Seattle Seahawks did lose more talent this offseason than they acquired, another high win total is on the table.
With that said, the Super Bowl hangover could hit the team a bit, as they did lose some key players, so while this team is still one of the more balanced in the league, a slight drop-off could be a scenario that plays out. Not only did players like Kenneth Walker, Boye Mafe, Coby Bryant, and Riq Woolen depart, but so did former offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak.
Los Angeles Rams
Ceiling: 16-1
Floor: 11-6
The Los Angelea Rams have a star-studded roster, and if the injuries are minimal and the key players do what they are paid to do, the Rams could flirt with being a 17-0 team. As recently as 2024, we had two teams in Detroit and Kansas City lose just two games and go 15-2, but there hasn't yet been a 16-1 team in the 17-game era.
With the reigning MVP, the top-ranked scoring offense, and the defense infused with elite talent, the Rams could be that first team to win 16 games in the 17-game slate.
San Francisco 49ers
Ceiling: 13-4
Floor: 6-11
The San Francisco 49ers, despite being injured mostly every single season, still find a way to win games and get into the playoffs. They returned to the playoffs in 2025 after missing in 2024 and making the Super Bowl in 2023.
Simply put, the 49ers are plenty good enough to stack a ton of wins if they do enjoy a year free from the amount of injuries they have endured.
With that said, we have seen entire seasons unravel due to the injury bug, and if that happens in the 2026 season, the 49ers would not make the playoffs in 2026.
Arizona Cardinals
Ceiling: 4-13
Floor: 0-17
The Arizona Cardinals have one of the toughest schedules in the NFL this year and could sincerely not win a game. With that said, there is enough 'bad' in the NFL for the Cardinals to stack a few wins, but either way, it's going to be a brutal year.
The roster isn't particularly good, and the QB room is a bottom-5 unit in the league. When you stack all of that up, the Cardinals finishing with anywhere from 2-4 wins feels likely in 2026.
