AFC West
Denver Broncos: 13-4
The reason why the Denver Broncos can keep up all this winning year over year is due to the sheer amount of roster talent the team has, and the acquisition of more this offseason. Sure, the Broncos won a ton of games by one-score and by close margins, but they also won a lot simply because they're more talented than most, if not every team on their schedule this year.
Kansas City Chiefs: 10-7
The Kansas City Chiefs weren't exactly a majorly tough team with a healthy Patrick Mahomes last year, but perhaps an improve run game thanks to Kenneth Walker III could truly end up being one of the final missing pieces, as the defense has a very high floor with Steve Spagnuolo running the show, and Mahomes is still, well, Mahomes.
Los Angeles Chargers: 9-8
The Los Angeles Chargers did hire Mike McDaniel as the new offensive coordinator, but they also did lose an elite defensive coordinator in Jesse Minter to a head coaching job. Those moves could end up canceling each other out to a degree, as the Chargers just do not feel that much better this year than they were at any point last year. It could be another 'so-so' season for the Bolts, but we've actually predicted the team to drop a couple of wins, as they have gone 11-6 in each of the last two years.
Las Vegas Raiders: 5-12
A five-win season for Klint Kubiak in his first year on the job would not be a bad start, to be honest. The Las Vegas Raiders do seem to want to take things slowly with Fernando Mendoza, so another losing season would not be a shock at all. I do wonder, however, if they plan on starting Mendoza at any point this year, as it doesn't feel likely that veteran Kirk Cousins can play well enough for a full 17 games.
