NFC East

Philadelphia Eagles: 10-7

The Philadelphia Eagles have won double-digit games four years in a row now, alternating 11 and 14-win seasons each year since 2022. In 2026, our latest prediction has the Eagles at a much more modest 10-7 record. AJ Brown is no longer in the picture, so the offense could take a step back, and QB Jalen Hurts really isn't a threatening passer, so Philly may have to continue leaning on the run game.

Because Hurts can't consistently beat teams with his arm, the Eagles may be rather one-dimensional on offense, but with a strong defense, they're almost guaranteed to be good enough to finish between 9-11 wins in the 2026 season.

Dallas Cowboys: 9-8

An improved defense finishing in that 12-20-ish tier in terms of points allowed per game would be enough for the Dallas Cowboys to at least see the record getting better. The offense is quite good, so the defense really doesn't have to do a whole lot. The Cowboys were in contention for the NFC East title for a short time in 2025, so it may only take a tiebreaker or a good bounce here and there for Dallas to suddenly be atop the division at season's end.

Washington Commanders: 6-11

A ton of injuries and an overall lack of talent spoiled Washington's 2025 season, and with how banged up QB Jayden Daniels got last year, it's hard to imagime how this team is able to replicate what we saw in 2024 in the 2026 season. Washington also doesn't have a ton of notable roster talent at all, so this could be a struggle.

New York Giants: 3-14

Perhaps a worse-case scenario, the New York Giants win just three games in our latest record predictions. A dysfunctional offense and a defense lacking legitimate top-end at all three phases could end up being a shockingly bad season.
