26. Jacoby Brissett, Arizona Cardinals

I guess? Jacoby Brissett is the king of garbage time stats, but the Arizona Cardinals did not look like the worst team in football to begin the season. It’s kind of hard to find an accurate slot for Brissett. He finished with 29/47 passing, 292 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. The garbage time stats were real in this one, but I also feel like there are a handful of much worse QBs in this league than Brissett.

The Cardinals definitely need to turn the page and give rookie Carson Beck a shot, but Brissett could continue having himself a nice career as a backup for another few seasons, as that’s all he is at this point. We have seen some rather atrocious QB play this year, though, so Brissett isn’t as low as you might think.

His counting stats aren’t terrible, and that has to be good for something, as he’s not totally incapable, but the Cardinals are clearly in a rebuilding season and will struggle to win another game this year.

25. Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders

You really just have to feel bad for this franchise. The Washington Commanders seemed to have this game in control, for the most part, until they didn’t. Washington and New York went into overtime, and, somehow, the Commanders had a chance to win, but a really odd coaching decision allowed the clock to run out before they could line up and spike the ball.

In his first game back from his elbow injury, Jayden Daniels went a pedestrian 17/25 for 199 yards. He did have 103 rushing yards and two touchdowns, which you’d love to get from your starting running back.

It was just an odd game for the Commanders, as the Commanders did have a shot to win this game. Washington is now 1-3-1 on the season and feels like a franchise heading in the wrong direction. With Daniels’ injury history as well, it’s also not clear if he’s going to eventually emerge as a QB this franchise feels comfortable investing in for the long-term.
