20. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles

Well, that was certainly a game. Jalen Hurts didn’t really do anything special in this one. He completed 21/40 passes for 220 yards and one touchdown, and with how ugly this game was, Hurts and the offense did just barely do enough for Philadelphia to win.

With that being said, Hurts will continue to limit what this offense can do, and with all of the injuries this team is dealing with on that side of the ball, it’s unlikely that they do anything of note this year.

Obviously, the way the Eagles lost this game was rather inexcusable, as they did get the lead on a late field goal, but proceeded to give up a long enough kick return and set up Jacksonville for the game-winner. All in all, Hurts had a pretty ‘meh’ outing, but he doesn’t feel like the primary issue with this team right now, as the personnel is banged up, and the coaching is very clearly not nearly good enough.

19. Kirk Cousins, Las Vegas Raiders

Kirk Cousins and the Las Vegas Raiders definitely didn’t expect that to happen in Week 5. Now losers of two games in a row, we could be seeing this team beginning to play as many of us thought they were before the season began.

Cousins went 19/28 for 243 yards and one touchdown on the afternoon, and this game got so out of hand that we even saw Fernando Mendoza come into the game and go 6/8 for 48 yards. This team was a very fun 3-0 to begin the season, but they followed that 3-0 start up with a close loss and a blowout loss.

This is something that head coach Klint Kubiak needs to fix, as the Raiders do seem to have a high enough ceiling to be frisky when December rolls around, but they also better hope that Cousins can continue being efficient.
