16. Kyler Murray, Minnesota Vikings

Kyler Murray seems to be getting a lot more comfortable in the Minnesota offense thus far, as the Vikings moved to 5-0 on the season with a huge win over the Saints. Murray didn’t light up the stat sheet or anything, but he completed 24/30 passes for 229 yards and one touchdown, which is about as good as you could reasonably expect him to play.

Murray has always had the talent, but playing with Arizona for years certainly didn’t do him any favors, as the Cardinals were and continue to be a dysfunctional franchise. It’s clear that he has talent, but it’s also clear that he’s not necessarily someone you can always rely on to run the show.

He is someone who probably needs the situation to not be terrible around him, and with the Vikings being a well-coached and well-run team, we are seeing Murray begin to blossom.

15. Drake Maye, New England Patriots

This was by far the best performance that Drake Maye has had in quite some time. Maye went 26/34 passing for a whopping 374 yards. He added four touchdowns and zero interceptions. This may seem a bit silly, but Maye now has more touchdown passes than interceptions this year, which is a win. Maye has seven touchdowns against just one interception the past two weeks, so he could begin to be putting something together.

And if that is the case, the New England Patriots might be coming. Maye has definitely taken alot of flak this season, and he seems to be a QB that people on social media have no issues making jokes about.

The schedule being as easy as it was last year has definitely been something that people seem to still be focused on, but if Maye can improve in 2026 with the schedule getting tougher, he'll silence those critics.
