4. Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears

Caleb Williams is a truly special player, folks. He did miss a few games this year, but Williams is now completing 71 percent of his passes and has five touchdowns against just one interception.

His arm strength and overall playmaking ability are off the charts, and with how the Chicago Bears look with Williams under center, it's not crazy to suggest that the Bears could make a Super Bowl run this year.

3. Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers

Bryce Young's further development in year four is truly something, and it goes to show you why patience is key for certain players. Young is averaging nearly 310 passing yards per game, which leads the NFC. He also has just two interceptions on 11 passing touchdowns.

You'd ideally like to see his 60.2 percent completion percentage improve, and I am not sure 12 sacks in five games is ideal, but he's been among the better QBs in the NFL this year and has the Carolina Panthers in a really good spot.

2. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions

Jared Goff comes in at No. 2 in our conference QB rankings. Goff has 12 touchdown passes this year, which is tied for second in the NFC, but he has zero interceptions.

Zero!

Goff has always been a very efficient player, so this type of play should not be a surprise at all. Goff is averaging nearly 300 passing yards per game and is probably going to have to keep this up given how shaky the Detroit Lions defense is.

Because Goff isn't necessarily a big-play type of QB like others in the league, he doesn't get quite as much attention as I believe he should. He's having an MVP-caliber year thus far.

1. Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers

I definitely struggled choosing between Goff and Brock Purdy for the top spot, but Purdy has probably been just a bit better overall. In fact, Purdy might just be the MVP of the league right now.

He boasts an 83.1 QBR and a passer rating of 118.1. In fact, Purdy now has the highest passer rating among qualified starters in the history of the NFL. He's truly elevated his game this year and is turning into a QB that can carry his team, rather than someone who is along for the ride.

Purdy has just two interceptions this year and leads the conference with 14 touchdown passes. He's also been sacked just five times. He's just not getting himself into much of any negative plays and is playing at a Super Bowl level.
