14. Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers
The Packers are one of the more interesting teams in the NFL, as it seems like this team thinks they can be a Super Bowl contender, but then they take the field, and it becomes obvious that there simply isn’t another gear with this operation.
Green Bay is the epitome of a ‘good’ team. They’re not great, and honestly far from it, but they’ll be good enough to win about 9, 10 games this year if nothing major happens. While that could get them into the playoffs for a fourth time in the Jordan Love era, making any sort of run isn’t likely.
We can all see that Love is a good QB, but these are the type of games that a team like the Packers should win. Perhaps things will sort themselves out in the coming weeks, but as of now, you have a bad taste in your mouth when talking about the Packers.
13. Drake Maye, New England Patriots
Drake Maye is still a good QB but did have a rather horrific outing in Week 1, tossing three interceptions in the fourth quarter. Now dating back to the playoff run the Patriots made, Maye’s play has been troubling, which isn’t ideal.
He is a franchise QB, but his performances against top teams aren’t where you want them to be, and the Patriots did have the easiest schedule in the NFL since 1999 last year, so we very well could be watching a team and a starting QB that might have been taking advantage of the schedule rather than actually being a juggernaut.
This next month or so, when the Patriots, along with the rest of the NFL, settle into their own, will be a huge indicator of just how good (or not) the Patriots will be this year. What Maye did in 2025 was outstanding, but it’s not 2025 anymore.
