22. Drew Lock, Seattle Seahawks

How much respect is too much respect to put on Drew Lock’s name?
After the way we saw Lock play in the season opener against the New England Patriots, he debuted on the QB Power Rankings at a relatively healthy 29th overall. That’s not bad for a backup coming in and doing his job.
Against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2, Drew Lock was dealing.
He finished the game 19-of-26 passing for 235 yards and three touchdowns, all of which went to Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
When in doubt, just throw the ball to the reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year. He’ll know what to do with it.
It’s not like Lock is throwing the ball as quickly as he possibly can to Smith-Njigba and just watching No. 11 go do his thing after the catch. He’s making big-time throws downfield, in the red zone, into tight windows, and against good coverage. We’re seeing Lock play like a legitimate starter right now, and he’ll take the show on the road for Week 3 against the Washington Commanders.
21. Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert has to be one of the biggest disappointments of the 2026 season so far.
In Week 1, the Chargers were upset by the Arizona Cardinals, and Herbert did not play well in that game. Most people just wrote it off as an outlier, but the woes continued for the Chargers in Week 2 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Even though the Raiders are playing some inspired football to start the 2026 season, Herbert finished with 2 interceptions and 3 fumbles. To be fair, he didn’t lose any of the fumbles, but ball security is looking like a bit of an issue early on this season.
He was sacked 3 times against the Raiders, and would have been sacked a 4th time, but Maxx Crosby was held in the end zone by Joe Alt for a safety.
Mike McDaniel was supposed to come in and bring balance to the Chargers’ offense, unlocking the fullness of Herbert’s skill set. So far, not so good.
