22. Jameis Winston, New York Giants
It's hard not to like Jameis Winston, at least a little bit, right? Winston has come in for the injured Jaxson Dart and done a decent job holding down the fort at quarterback for the Giants.
And at receiver...
Winston is one of the most unique personalities at the quarterback position in the NFL, but beyond the quirks, he's honestly just a fascinating player. He helped the Giants in their upset bid of the Packers last week, and then they had the Lions on the ropes this week. Ultimately, nothing matters if you're not winning the games, but we see what Winston is doing these last two weeks. It's more impressive than most of what we saw from Russell Wilson, for whatever that's worth at this point.
21. Davis Mills, Houston Texans
You have to tip your cap to Davis Mills and the Houston Texans. The AFC South looked like it was going to be the Colts and Jaguars all year, but the Texans have made an incredible comeback. It's been especially remarkable considering the adversity they've faced along the way.
CJ Stroud has not played since suffering a concussion in Week 9 against the Broncos, which is obviously a huge concern. Davis Mills came into the game in relief for Stroud and looked borderline incompetent against Denver's defense. Since then, he's actually kind of rocked. He has five touchdowns in his three starts, with just one interception, and a huge (signature) win over the Buffalo Bills on Thursday night.
Mills has kept the Texans firmly in the mix, and looking dangerous, dare I say.
