10. Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts
I definitely give the Indianapolis Colts some credit for taking the Kansas City Chiefs into overtime in Week 2. That was a moral victory, if that even exists in the NFL.
With that said, Daniel Jones is honestly just a guy at this point. He's not been the reason why the Colts are 0-2, but he still should shoulder some of the blame. Indy was 7-1 to begin the 2025 season so they've already eclipsed their loss total from the first half of last year.
Jones has just 376 passing yards through two weeks and has a passer rating below 80. His QBR of 55 is technically above average, but there is only so much weight we can put into certain QB-centric statistics.
He's not necessarily a bad QB, but I'm not sure he's a good one. Across the first half of the 2025 season, Jones was playing close to an MVP level, but we simply have not gotten those kind of returns since then.
He'll slot in at No. 10 in our QB power rankings thus far. There isn't anything that has stood out with Jones and the Colts through two weeks. This feels like a six-ish win team this year.
9. Deshaun Watson, Cleveland Browns
Deshaun Watson played some very good football in Week 2. He deserves credit for it. Watson has 443 yards through two weeks, which ranks 7th in the AFC. He's also completing 76.9 percent of his passes and has three touchdowns against one interception.
Watson's 112.9 passer rating ranks second in the AFC, and his QBR of 57.7 ranks 7th. So far, especially after the Week 2 performance, Watson feels like a serviceable player.
There is a lot of season left to go and a lot for Watson to mess up, but he deserves some form of praise here. The Cleveland Browns still may have plans to move on from Watson as soon as reasonably possible, and one good start does not take away from just how detrimental this trade has been for the franchise.
If by some miracle Watson begins to string together some good performances, and the Browns start winning games, we can have a different conversation, but that likely won't happen.
Cleveland is still among the worst teams in football this year. Notably, Watson has already been sacked seven times, which is tied for the second-most in the AFC as Week 3 begins.
