10. Kirk Cousins, Las Vegas Raiders
Alright, so the Las Vegas Raiders are 3-0, and Kirk Cousins looks awesome. How many of us truly thought this was going to happen this year? I am honestly in awe of what I am seeing. Cousins looks great and looks like he did during his prime years with Minnesota.
He added another 248 yards and three touchdowns, putting up 35 points away from home. Through three games in 2026, Cousins now has nine touchdown passes against three interceptions. He’s thrown a trio of touchdown passes in each game and has also totaled 501 passing yards over the last two weeks. Those two weeks also saw him finish with passer ratings of 113.1 and 119.3.
This is just mind-boggling. The Raiders are playing some really nice football, appear to be well-coached, and just don’t seem to be the Raiders of old. Things can surely cool off in the coming weeks, as this roster is flawed, but what if it doesn’t…?
I am not sure Cousins has enough left in the tank to continue playing this well, but he’s earned a decent spot in our QB power rankings for the time being. Cousins was brought in as a short-term thing until the Raiders felt like Fernando Mendoza was ready, or until Cousins didn’t deserve to be the starter.
As of now, it might be a while before we see Mendoza.
9. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
I don’t think you can ask for much more from Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys on offense. Prescott went a healthy 25/40 for 276 yards and one touchdown. His offense put up 31 points and did more than enough to win.
But, as it was last year, the defense is just bad again.
And if this does not change quickly, the Cowboys will again be in trouble and will fail to make the playoffs despite having a great offense. In 2026, Prescott now has two games with at least 275 passing yards, a game with a 143.8 passer rating, and seven touchdown passes against just one interception.
Let’s be honest here; you cannot ask for any more from Prescott. You just can’t. He and the Cowboys offense continue to play high-end football, and despite the franchise largely being dysfunctional, Prescott continues to be a high-end player and does everything you’d want a franchise QB to do.
