16. Deshaun Watson, Cleveland Browns

Last week: 17th

There was once a time when Deshaun Watson played like a legitimate NFL MVP candidate with the Houston Texans. And something needs to be made clear: He’s not playing that good right now for the Browns.

With that being said, this is some of the best quarterback play we’ve seen for the Browns in years.

Watson and the Browns are absolutely rolling since getting blown out by the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1. And the reality is, the QB play could be even better for Cleveland. We saw Watson miss a throw late to Harold Fannin Jr. that could have cost his team dearly, but the fact that there is room to improve is actually good news for the Browns right now.

Watson is playing with confidence. He’s operating the offense well. He’s got some young playmakers in the passing game he can spread the ball to, and they are making big plays for him.

Browns fans have to be absolutely thrilled with the way their team is playing right now, and with a defense that gives them a decent margin for error.

15. Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers

Last week: 23rd

It hasn’t been the easiest start to the 2026 season for Jordan Love, who has been under more pressure than any other quarterback in the league through the first three games.

Then curiously, the Buccaneers – a blitz-happy defense – decided to take it a little easy on him and not blitz. As you might expect, it was one of Love’s best days of the season when it comes to getting pressured, but he was still getting let down by his teammates.

Pass catchers for the Packers had at least three or four brutal drops in this game, and it cost the team big time. Then, late in the 4th quarter, Love threw his worst pass of the game with an interception on what the kids are calling a “meatball sub” of a pass.

Love finished the game with a pair of touchdowns, and just enough for his team to get a win on the road against the Bucs. And this was an important one with the Bears looming in Week 5. The Packers are going to need a much better game from Love than any we’ve seen so far this season with the way the Bears have been cooking offensively.
