10. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys

Last week: 6th

It’s hard to explain exactly what’s been going on the last two games with the Dallas Cowboys’ offense, but it’s not good.

The Cowboys were upset in shocking fashion a couple of Thursday nights ago against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and they were absolutely shut down on Sunday night against the Green Bay Packers.

This may be misplaced blame, and likely requires watching the film of the past couple of games, but the absence of George Pickens over the past two games feels notable when trying to explain the “why” behind Dak Prescott’s struggles the past two games.

Regardless, I’m still going to likely die on the hill that says Prescott is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL right now. He’ll get hot again, and the Cowboys need him to do it fast.

9. Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears

Last Week: DNP

In the two “normal” games Caleb Williams has played this season (the game against the Vikings in Week 2 was affected by weather and injury), the Bears have scored 80 points. They put up 59 points against the Panthers in Week 1, and hung 31 on the Falcons in Week 6.

Williams showed absolutely no ill effects from the hamstring injury that infamously had him getting memed by the entire NFL world.

He completed 30-of-36 passes (80 percent) for 306 yards and a touchdown. And that Bears running game continues to do its thing in the red zone. What you love to see, especially for a guy making his return to the field after injury, is the fact that the Bears were 9-of-17 on third downs.

Williams was out there executing, making plays, and looking comfortable.
