24. Daniel Jones, Indianapolis Colts

Last week: 24th

I’m sorry, but I just have very little confidence in Daniel Jones at this point.

Jones and the Colts are trending toward a mid-season fire sale, and it would be shocking if Shane Steichen was the head coach of this team at the end of the season. It’s simply a matter of time and whether or not Colts ownership is going to sign off on having a fire sale in the middle of the year if they know they are going to be making changes at GM and head coach after the season.

Jones was given a big contract coming off injury, and he doesn’t look like even remotely the same guy that we saw in the first half of the 2025 season.

So far this season, he has four touchdowns compared to six interceptions. It’s not working out.

23. Geno Smith, New York Jets

Last week: 21st

Believe it or not, Geno Smith just threw his first interception of the season in Week 6. It felt like he was throwing at least one or two interceptions every single game last yaer.

To Smith’s credit, he’s done a much better job of taking care of the football this season, and giving the Jets a good look at some of their young skill players. He has developed a really solid chemistry already this season with Garrett Wilson, but we’ve also seen big games from Kenyon Sadiq and now Omar Cooper Jr.

The Jets clearly had a plan to get the 1st-round pick out of Indiana heavily involved, and Smith put the ball on him. He caught 6 passes for 103 yards on 7 targets and scored a touchdown in his first game back from IR.

Unfortunately, none of it was good enough for the Jets to go into New England and get a win. Smith is doing enough to help the Jets stay afloat, but they need better execution across the board.
