16. Kirk Cousins, Las Vegas Raiders

The fact that we’re seeing vintage Kirko Chainz this season is truly mind-boggling.
Maybe we should have seen it coming a little bit after the way he finished last season with the Falcons, but he’s been so much better this year for the Raiders than anyone could have possibly imagined.
I still remember the outrage when he signed a 1-year deal with the Raiders worth $11.3 million. Most folks in the NFL world seemed to think that his time in Atlanta was truly the end of the line for Cousins, but he’s clearly got some great football left in him.
Cousins threw for 313 yards and a pair of touchdowns against the Buffalo Bills, and he wasn’t sacked a single time. He was picked off once, but he competed his tail off and made some really impressive throws with anticipation.
15. Tyler Shough, New Orleans Saints

Out of nowhere, Tyler Shough showed up and had four total touchdowns against the New York Giants with just 176 total yards of offense. I don’t know if that’s ever actually been done before.
There was some news that came out on Sunday morning that Shough has actually been playing with two broken bones in his left hand, so we know this guy is an absolute gamer out there. He’s put up some big numbers at times this season, even though the Saints have sputtered and struggled.
And while they did let the Giants creep back into the frame on Sunday, they built a really impressive lead while taking advantage of New York’s mistakes. They were 3-for-3 in the red zone on hte road, and won the turnover battle 4-1.
Shough is fully capable of leading this Saints team back to the playoffs, and remains one of the most dangerous dual threats in the league right now.
