It is wild to think that Week 7 of the 2026 NFL Season is about over, but here we are. The halfway point of the season is also approaching rather quickly, and, once again, it feels like this season is flying by.

Don't they all feel that way, though? Our latest quarterback power rankings are in, and it's filled with a good bit of movement. There were some prolific QB performances this week, but there were some that were rather disappointing.

We've sorted through them all and have our latest QB power rankings. As we have done each week, we are ranking based on the QB's total body of work, but also giving some extra consideration to their most recent performance.

NFL QB Power Rankings, Week 8: Tons of movement present as Week 7 ends

Sam Darnold, Patrick Mahomes, Dak Prescott, and Tanner McKee play in the primetime windows. We will update their rankings following Sunday Night Football and Monday Night Football.

32. Tanner McKee, Philadelphia Eagles

Tanner McKee plays on Monday Night Football

It’s certainly been a season to forget for the Philadelphia Eagles, as Tanner McKee gets the start again in place of Jalen Hurts, who won’t play again this year due to his blood clots situation. The Eagles 2026 season is suddenly a lost year, as, while McKee can be a fine backup, that’s all he is.

We need to be having bigger conversations about the Eagles besides McKee, honestly, as this team should consider being sellers at the 2026 NFL Trade Deadline. McKee isn’t going to lead this team on a big winning streak or anything, and we could soon be talking about the Eagles emerging as one of the worst teams in the sport.

31. Malik Willis, Miami Dolphins

Well, the Miami Dolphins won a game! The Dolphins earned their first win of the season over New York. Malik Willis had a pretty solid outing. He went 14/21 for 208 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Ollie Gordon helped his QB out, running for 103 yards and one touchdown.

To the surprise of no one, most QBs in the NFL can look quite good when the run game is working, but, for the most part, Willis and the Dolphins have been a forgettable team this year. The Dolphins are right in the heart of a year one rebuilding campaign, and Williams has mostly looked bad this year, but it’s not all his fault, as the Dolphins sport some of the worst talent in the NFL.

Willis is probably someone who will eventually have a nice, long career as a high-end backup, but even those caliber of players can have some good outings from time to time. This one had to feel good for Willis and the Dolphins in Week 7.

30. Cam Ward, Tennessee Titans

Folks, I just do not know how much longer the Tennessee Titans can keep trotting second-year QB Cam Ward out there, as it feels like he’s having the same exact outings each week. The Titans lose and fail to build on their win from last week. Ward completed just 20 of 31 passes for 181 yards and one interception.

He’s just not at all close to being a franchise QB, and it just does not feel like he has made any progress from his rookie season, which did seem to be encouraging near the end.

29. Tyler Huntley, Baltimore Ravens

Tyler Huntley is definitely one of the more reliable backup QBs in the NFL, but sometimes, you just get overwhelmed and can’t go toe-to-toe with a QB who may end up in the Hall of Fame. I really do not blame Huntley for how the Baltimore Ravens lost in Week 7, simply because he’s a backup for a reason.

Huntley did flirt with 300 passing yards and threw a touchdown pass, but the Ravens put up just 13 points and were outscored by 35 points in the second half. The Ravens aren’t going to win much of anything as long as Huntley is in at QB - this team needs Lamar Jackson back in the worst way, but Huntley is no slouch, either.

Ideally for the Ravens, Huntley isn’t on this list in the coming weeks, as that means Jackson gets himself back into the lineup. That’s simply what it is at this point.
