14. Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders
Despite the injuries he’s been dealing with over the past couple of seasons, it’s abundantly clear that Jayden Daniels is still one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in the NFL.
Daniels and the Commanders got a matchup – at home – playing against the hapless Philadelphia Eagles, and they took advantage.
Again, Daniels is making lemonade out of lemons with the group of receivers he's got out there. He's developed a strong chemistry so far this season with Stefon Diggs, which has been encouraging, but everybody know's that is a short-term deal.
Daniels is still out there making plays despite not having the best weapons around him, but he hasn't been perfect either. Especially situationally.
13. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
It’s unfortunate for Cowboys fans, but it’s become abundantly clear that the team is wasting another strong year from Dak Prescott. At least, on the whole.
In recent weeks, Prescott has regressed a bit to the mean with his numbers, and maybe that’s contributing to the rumors about him possibly playing his last year with the Cowboys right now.
In the stunning loss against the Arizona Cardinals, Prescott had just 195 yards passing. He’s still on pace for over 4,300 passing yards this season, but he obviously can’t do it all by himself out there. Not only is the Cowboys’ defense struggling, but so has their running game.
He’s still out there able to make some of the most ridiculous throws.
12. Kirk Cousins, Las Vegas Raiders
Darn Joe Burrow had to rain on Kirk Cousins’s parade. Cousins was this close to leading the NFL in passing touchdowns after Week 8 action.
Cousins has been incredible for the Raiders this year, and the chainz are out. He has 19 touchdown passes, and after a shootout against the Jets, the Raiders are now 4-4 this season.
The way Cousins has been loading up the stat sheet this year is impressive. He’s been operating Klint Kubiak’s offense exceptionally well, and the only real issue with the Raiders this year has been their defense giving up too many points.
Cousins and the offense have been explosive.
