The reunion tour for Odell Beckham Jr. with the New York Giants is officially on.
Beckham signed with the Giants during the 2026 offseason, but wasn't guaranteed anything. He had to fight for his roster spot throughout the course of training camp and the preseason, and to his credit, he gave them every reason to keep him around.
At the age of 33, Beckham made it on the Giants' roster and has a chance to now help young quarterback Jaxson Dart develop in a pivotal sophomore season. And that, right there, is what makes him one of the biggest winners of roster cuts around the league.

At one point in time, Beckham was considered the future of the New York Giants. Obviously, he doesn't play the quarterback position, but early on in his career, it looked like he was going to be entrenched as one of the best receivers in the league.
Injuries truly robbed him of a legendary career, but injuries haven't taken away his ability to get open and make plays for the quarterback.
The Giants have a new head coach in John Harbaugh. Harbaugh has worked with Beckham in the past (2023 with the Ravens), but he was under no obligation to keep him around strictly for nostalgia's sake.
Beckham had to prove a couple of things upon his return to the Giants: That he could still get open, and that he could stay healthy.
Beckham didn't miss a single practice despite being out of the game for a year, and now has an opportunity to help really help the Jaxson Dart era set sail. Even if he's not going to be Dart's number one receiver, and even if he's not going to be a featured piece in the offense, the idea of Beckham even making a handful of plays for Dart this upcoming season has to be an absolute thrill for New York Giants fans.
This is an opportunity for some true "closure". Beckham's NFL career is almost a mirror, in some ways, to that of Derrick Rose in the NBA. From overnight superstardom in the early years to injury-plagued "what if?" questions. Unlike Rose, Beckham has a chance to be part of building something special with the team that drafted him.
It's absolutely one of the coolest stories of training camp this summer, and it's going to be a story worth following all throughout the 2026 season.
