Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks won the Super Bowl last season in Mike Macdonald's 2nd year as head coach. Success as a defensive-minded head coach often means your offensive coordinators become head coaching candidates. That became reality for Macdonald when offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak became the Raiders' head coach this offseason.
Brian Fleury, after spending 7 years on Kyle Shanahan's staff in San Francisco, becomes Seattle's new offensive coordinator. While they lost Walker to the Chiefs, the Seahawks return plenty of weapons, including reigning offensive player of the year Jaxon Smith-Njigba and veterans Rashid Shaheed and Cooper Kupp. Seattle drafted Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price late in the first round, who is projected to make an immediate impact.
Early in his head coaching career, Macdonald has an excellent track record of evaluating coordinators, as evidenced by Klint Kubiak. But how quickly Fleury finds success in his new role will be worth watching.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
With Tampa Bay Buccaneers all-time leading receiver Mike Evans signing with San Francisco this offseason, the young receivers on this roster will be forced to pick up the slack. Emeka Egbuka, entering his second year, and third-year Jalen McMillan are prime candidates to take over the targets Evans leaves behind.
Egbuka was having an excellent rookie season before a hamstring injury in Week 6 limited his production for the rest of the season. McMillan only played in four games last season after suffering a neck injury in the preseason. With the depth behind them featuring 30-year-old Chris Godwin, who has played a total of 16 games over the last two years, and rookie Ted Hurst, Egbuka and McMillan will both need to be more consistent for this offense to be at all effective in 2026.
Tennessee Titans
The Tennessee Titans have made several moves this offseason that will hopefully lead to more success for Cam Ward and this offense. First, Robert Saleh hired Brian Daboll as offensive coordinator. Daboll had success in his early days as the Giants' head coach and deserves much credit for Josh Allen's development as well.
Given Ward's obvious talent and Daboll's experience with raw but physically gifted quarterbacks, this pairing could yield very positive results as early as 2026. Personnel-wise, Tennessee drafted wide receiver Carnell Tate 4th overall out of Ohio State and signed veteran Wan'Dale Robinson, giving Ward more weapons on the outside. Ward and Daboll could form one of the more interesting quarterback-coach pairings in the NFL this season.
Washington Commanders
The 2024 Washington Commanders made an NFC Championship appearance in Jayden Daniels' rookie season. Washington entered 2025 with very high expectations but ultimately disappointed, winning only 5 games and ranking 22nd in points per game as Daniels missed 10 games due to injury. Head coach Dan Quinn made a change at offensive coordinator, firing Kliff Kingsbury and promoting David Blough from assistant quarterbacks coach.
Blough, just two years into his coaching career, has never held a primary position-coach role, let alone a coordinator position. Although his lack of experience is concerning, Daniels strongly supported Blough's hiring because of the strong chemistry they developed during their first years together in Washington. With only a six-year difference in age between the two, Blough and Daniels will be an exciting duo to watch this season.
