2025 NFL mock draft: Entire first-round mock draft predictions
Another week, another mock draft. Let's dive into our latest 2025 NFL mock draft where teams hope to rebuild their struggling franchise. Yes, I understand how early we are. The current NFL Draft order for next April is surely going to change quite a bit, but some teams who are currently slated to pick where they are may end up staying in a similar spot.
At first glance, the 2025 NFL Draft does not appear to have quite the offensive talent up top as 2024, and the QB class does not appear to be nearly as good. This could create a scenario where a QB does not go first overall. This last happened in the 2022 and 2017 NFL Drafts.
Obviously, this would all depend on who is picking no. 1 overall, and due to the lack of talent at QB in this class, it might make it more likely that a massive trade could do down. Let's get into our latest NFL mock draft, which is one round long.
2025 NFL mock draft: Entire first-round mock draft predictions
1. Cincinnati Bengals - Will Campbell, OT, LSU
The Cincinnati Bengals picking first overall in the 2025 NFL Draft would certainly be something. I doubt it happens, as the Bengals routinely get themselves into early-season holes. The 2024 NFL Season is no different. They sit at 0-2 but do have some winnable games left on their schedule in the coming weeks.
However, if the 2025 NFL Draft was indeed today, they'd be picking no. 1. Well, Will Campbell is the best tackle prospect in the country and is as polished as they come at the position. This would make it two straight years that Cincy would take a tackle in the first round, as they took Amarius Mims in the 2024 NFL Draft.
The Bengals could also dip into the free agency market to bring in at least one new interior OL starter. You definitely do not want to take a guard or center at pick one.
2. Indianapolis Colts - Travis Hunter, CB, Colorado
The Indianapolis Colts seem to be buying into QB Anthony Richardson for at least one more year, as with the second pick in this NFL mock draft, they take Travis Hunter, who seems to be the early favorite for the Heisman Trophy and someone who is playing both cornerback and wide receiver.
In the NFL, Hunter is surely going to have to decide what position is best for him, and my guess is actually that he settles into WR. Well, for this mock draft, we'll have him at CB going to the Colts. Even if Hunter does indeed settle into one position, it truly would not surprise me to see his NFL team sometimes deploy him playing both of his positions.
Would this be the right pick for the Colts?
