21. Miami Dolphins - Kelvin Banks Jr, OT, Texas

The Miami Dolphins could use another tackle, as Terron Armstead gets hurt a lot and is getting old, so he could be hanging it up in the near future.  The Dolphins OL was quite good in 2023, but a lot of that credit goes to QB Tua Tagovailoa, a QB who is able to get rid of the ball quite quickly.

Well, GM Chris Grier needs to build this team up to consistently win in the trenches, as the Dolphins need to start playing with a fierce edge up front, especially when it gets old outside.  They decide to take Texas tackle Kelvin Banks Jr in an effort to build for the future and to also become more consistent in the trenches.

Would this be the correct move for the Dolphins, who just extended “Touchdown Tua?”

22. Green Bay Packers - Denzel Burke, CB, Ohio State

Could the Green Bay Packers say goodbye to stud cornerback Jaire Alexander at some point?  Probably.  The Packers could go in a number of different directions in the 2025 NFL Draft.  The team saw a mid-season turnaround from QB Jordan Love, and it was something that many of us have not seen before.  I mean, he literally seemed to flip a switch about seven weeks into the season.  Anyway, the Packers could be set-up beautifully for the future on offense, but they could stand to get a bit more consistent on the defensive backend, so that’s why Denzel Burke comes off the board for Green Bay with the 22nd overall pick in this mock draft.

The Packers could potentially target another OL player here, though.  They have locked up Jordan Love for the long-term and should do what it takes to keep him upright through his prime years.
