4. 117th overall: Jarrian Jones, CB, Florida State

On day three of the 2024 NFL Draft, you want to target guys you believe can make an instant impact on special teams and factor into your rotation hopefully by year two. The Colts have had Jarrian Jones to Indianapolis for an official "top 30" visit and those visits can often be for answering final questions before pulling the trigger on a guy on Day 3.

Or it could be misdirection...

In this case, I think the Colts' interest in Jarrian Jones is genuine. He's athletic, he can play in the slot, he can play on the outside, and he could play on special teams.

5. 151st overall: Isaac Guerendo, RB, Louisville

The Colts could add some depth behind Jonathan Taylor in this year's draft, and the NFL Draft community has quickly fallen in love with Louisville running back Isaac Guerendo. Guerendo has elite speed and athletic traits and racked up over 1,000 yards from scrimmage last season after transferring from Wisconsin.

Crazy enough, Guerendo and Taylor have actually already been teammates as members of the Badgers. It took Guerendo a bit longer to hit his stride at the college level, but he found it and just in time for the NFL to pounce.
