To make up for not addressing the position earlier, the Steelers finish their draft by selecting a second-straight cornerback, going with Miami Hurricanes standout Jaden Davis.
Now, unlike the aforementioned Jones, Davis is a much smaller prospect for the corner position. Davis stands 5-foot-9 and could be a better fit as a slot corner or rotational defensive back with some versatility. He does also excel in zone coverage, which is something Pittsburgh has thrown in a bit more this season.
Even though he is undersized, Davis plays smart football. He is one of those players who could be a depth piece, but is able to come in and play wherever he's needed. He makes up for his lack of size with his quick feet, above-average awareness in zone and with a high football IQ.
