2. Derrick Henry moves up the top-10 rushing yards list
We are once again on Derrick Henry record watch with the Baltimore Ravens; however, it is for all-time rushing yards this time around, not rushing touchdowns, as was the case in Week 1. With another heavy dosage of the man known as the king for the Ravens last weekend, Henry put himself in a great position to move up on the top-10 rushing yards list in league history. With only 30 rushing yards against the Dallas Cowboys, who have struggled against the running game early this year, Henry will move up to ninth in all-time rushing yards, passing Eric Dickerson for the spot.
1. The first NFL game in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Unlike Melbourne, Australia, in Week 1, there is a bit of a mystery as to whether or not Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will host its first NFL game on Sunday. Last week, local soccer players voiced displeasure over the state of the field. The league will make a decision on the matter soon, considering the game is scheduled for Sunday.
If the contest takes place as scheduled, it will obviously be a historic moment for the city of Rio de Janeiro, as it will host its first NFL game. If not, there will need to be some kind of movement. The most likely option is for the host team, the Dallas Cowboys, to host the game at its home stadium.
As for the matchup, it looks to be a good one on paper with the Baltimore Ravens and Cowboys going head-to-head. Both teams have firepower and the ability to stop opposing offenses (maybe one team more than the other up to this point in the campaign). Additionally, Rio de Janeiro could be the site of three historic moments with this game by hosting it, King Henry moving up the all-time rushing yards list and Von Miller moving up the all-time sacks leaderboard.
