9. Justin Jefferson

Perhaps the best wide receiver in the entire National Football League, Minnesota Vikings superstar Justin Jefferson left the game early on Sunday with an ankle injury. While it was good to see Jefferson walk to the locker room under his own power, and without the use of a cart, his absence will be felt for the Vikings if the ankle causes him to miss any time. The good news is that head coach Kevin O'Connell said that Jefferson was close to returning to the game, making it sound like the team ruled him out as a precautionary measure, and the star pass catcher could be good to go in Week 4 if that is indeed the case.

8. Mike Evans

San Francisco 49ers veteran wide receiver Mike Evans has dealt with a slew of minor ailments to begin the season, none of which have kept him from missing any games so far. However, on Sunday, the pass catcher sustained a rib injury that he had to be carted off the field for just prior to halftime, and as the team came out for the second half, Evans was ruled out for the remainder of the game against the Arizona Cardinals with what was labeled a rib strain. If Evans misses any time, expect Deebo Samuel to step up as the top wide receiver for Brock Purdy and the 49ers offense, with additional help from George Kittle and some of the running backs.

7. Breece Hall

New York Jets star running back Breece Hall left the game early with what was labeled as a thigh injury. During his press conference following the close loss to the Detroit Lions, Hall said that something felt off when he was running, and he proceeded to leave the game after he felt the ailment. While it is unknown if Hall will miss time going forward, if he does, expect Braelon Allen to step up in the running game, with Isaiah Wilson stepping into a backup role and potentially picking up some receiving work out of the backfield if it comes to that.
