What Was Predicted Before the Draft
Many people speculated the selections for the Packers going into the Draft, here is what I had about the Packers going into the days before the Draft commenced. “With all that has already been said, many have different predictions for who the Packers should pick up in the draft, but I think I already have somewhat of a solid idea. Here is what I know the Packers will most likely draft: linebacker of some sort (whether it be an inside or outside linebacker), safety help, tight end or wide receiver (which ever position has better players) and an offensive lineman. With that said one can probably infer that the Packers could take Ohio State’s Ryan Shazier as the 21st overall pick or even go out and take FS Calvin Pryor out of the University of Louisville. In terms of the overall draft, the Pack should most definitely go with a FS and LB during the first two rounds, a wide receiver such as Paul Richardson out of Colorado or even Kent State’s Dri Archer in the third round, and then perhaps an offensive tackle such as Michael Schofield out of Michigan in the fourth round and so on and so forth till the last pick is selected.”
