I wish it could have been different for New York Giants RB David Wilson. He had the potential to be a pretty good running back in the league, but that neck injury took it all away. He worked hard to get back on the field again this season, but it just didn’t hold up. He wasn’t able to get back on the field and the doctors could not give him the clearance.

The chapter on his NFL life has come to a close and he will have to look forward to a different story now. Hope that he gets on his feet and makes some good things happen. He held his press conference today with the media to say his farewells.
Wilson started strong, now tears rolling down his face. "These are tears of joy.. Don't think for a second I'm sad.. I lived my dream."

I hope nothing but the best for the young man. I hope he can get a shot to be part of a professional organization in some capacity if that is his dream. He has lived his dream and now it is time to move forward on another dream.
